Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
- Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, to effectively eliminate pests while adhering to safety standards.
- Provide advice on how to reduce the risk of future infestations and educate customers on pest prevention methods.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, help with sales to current customers, and expand our product to new customers.
- Maintain and stock pest control equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.
- Operate a company provided service vehicle safely and adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control products and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Clean shaven face for safety reasons (rebreathers have to be able to seal your face)
- A high school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A valid driver’s license from state of residence.
- Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us).
- Available to work Monday-Friday and weekends as needed.
- Open to learning and becoming knowledgeable in all areas of pest control.
- Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
- Basic math skills – you’ll need to be able to follow instructions for mixing on product labels.
- Customer-facing experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Essential Job Functions: Working in tight, confined spaces; working around animals, insects, and termites; working around mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights and scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals; moving around – regularly sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles; wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), like an OSHA-compliant respirator.
