About the role

The primary purpose of this role is to perform industry-leading pest management services for residential customers. You will be responsible for identifying and eliminating pests from residential properties through thorough inspections, treatment applications, and preventative measures.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
  • Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, to effectively eliminate pests while adhering to safety standards.
  • Provide educational guidance to customers on pest prevention methods and maintaining a pest-free environment.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with customers, assist with sales, and expand customer base.
  • Maintain and stock pest control equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • Operate a company-provided service vehicle safely and adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control products and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • A clean shaven face for safety reasons (rebreathers must be able to seal your face).
  • A high school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A valid driver's license from the state of residence.
  • Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us).
  • Availability to work Monday-Friday and weekends as needed.
  • Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic math skills for following instructions on product labels.
  • Customer-facing experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Essential job functions include working in tight, confined spaces, around animals, insects, and termites, and handling mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights, scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals.
  • You must be able to work both inside and outside in various climates, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
