Pest Control Technician
Location: Angier, NC (27513) – full-time field position reporting to the Raleigh, NC office once per week.

Aptive is looking for a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented team player who thrives both independently and in a collaborative environment. As a Pest Control Technician, you’ll service a daily route in your local area, resolving customer pest concerns with the best solutions.
Pay
$18.00 – $22.00 per hour plus uncapped performance bonuses and an annual incentive trip (Circle of Excellence).

Responsibilities
- Run a daily route, resolving customer pest concerns and issues
- Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order
- Keep accurate records of treatments provided
- Mix, apply, and handle pesticides in compliance with state and federal laws
- Serve as the subject-matter expert, implementing the most efficient pest solutions for each customer
- Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures
- Advise customers of potential problems and keep management informed of any issues on service routes
- Maintain proper inventory of pesticides
- Carry a product backpack (~50 lbs)
- Work schedule includes every other Saturday
Requirements
- No prior pest-control experience necessary; full training provided
- Valid U.S. driver’s license for at least 3 years
- Clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than two in the past four years)
- Pass a drug test and background check
