Responsibilities

• Regular interaction with customers to troubleshoot problems and communicate service details
• Work outdoors for most of the day
• Lift at least 50 lbs
• Crawl, kneel, and fit into tight spaces
• Apply liquid treatments to soil
• Perform drilling, trenching, and basic cleanup after jobs
• Data entry and documentation into mobile devices for services performed
• Sell new services and re-sell the value of existing services to ensure customer retention and growth

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to read and understand safety, regulatory, or protocol documents
• Basic mathematical skills
• Problem-solving and effective reasoning abilities
• Pass a series of exams as part of new hire training
• Clean driving record
• Pass a background check and drug screen
• Flexibility to work Monday–Saturday during the summer season
• Must either hold an existing pest control license/certification or acquire one with company-provided training

Eligibility for benefits begins the first of the month following 60 days of employment for employees working 30+ hours per week. Employees contribute a portion of their major medical monthly premium, while dependents are fully covered by the employee.

Training & Support

• Comprehensive classroom and field training provided
• Training administered through Insight’s online University Program
• Ongoing support and supervision from the Service Manager and Lead Technician
• $2,000 bonus for pest license holders
• $2,000 bonus awarded to those who pass the pesticide test on the first try
