Pest Control Specialist

We seek competent individuals with strong work ethics and excellent customer service skills to join our team as Route Technicians, Universal Technicians, or Start Technicians.

This position reports directly to the Service Manager of the Millbury, MA branch. No prior pest control experience is required; we provide comprehensive classroom and field training to ensure you feel capable and confident to excel in your position.

The role focuses on selling new services and re-selling the value of existing clientele through inspections, estimates, new sales, and service, directly influencing customer retention and growth.

Responsibilities

• Regular interaction with customers to troubleshoot problems and communicate service details
• Work outdoors for most of the day
• Lift at least 50 lbs
• Crawl, kneel, and fit into tight spaces
• Apply liquid treatments to soil
• Perform drilling, trenching, and basic cleanup after jobs
• Complete data entry and documentation into mobile devices for services performed
• Be flexible to work Monday through Saturday during the summer season

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to read and understand simple documents regarding safety, regulatory, or protocol standards
• Basic mathematical skills
• Talent for solving practical problems and effective reasoning
• Pass a series of exams as part of new hire training
• Clean driving record
• Pass a background check and drug screen
• Either have an existing license/certification or acquire one with company training assistance

Eligibility for benefits begins the first of the month following 60 days of employment for employees working 30 hours or more per week.

Pay

$45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year, plus a $2,000.00 sign-on bonus for licensed technicians.

Schedule

Flexible to work Monday through Saturday during the summer season.
