Pest Control Specialist

About the role

This position is focused on the organization’s main goal for sustainability, which is selling new services and re-selling the value of existing clientele. Through inspections, estimates, new sales, and service itself, these individuals influence customer attrition and new customer growth.

No prior experience in pest control or sales is required. We will provide comprehensive classroom and field training to ensure you feel capable and confident to excel in your position. The company administers our Training Program. If you’ve got a strong work ethic and excellent customer service skills, we will ensure you’re provided with every resource necessary to succeed.

This position reports directly to the Service Manager of the branch located in Springdale, OH.

Responsibilities

• Regular interaction with customers to troubleshoot problems and communicate the details of the service
• Work outdoors for most of the day
• Lift at least 50 lbs
• Crawl, kneel, and/or fit in tight spaces
• Apply liquid treatments to the soil
• Perform drilling, trenching, and basic cleanup after a job
• Data entry and documentation into mobile devices for services performed
• Flexible to work Monday–Saturday during the summer season

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to read and understand simple documents regarding safety, regulatory, or protocol standards
• Basic mathematical skills
• Talent for solving practical problems and effective reasoning
• Take and pass a series of exams as part of new hire training
• Clean driving record
• Pass a background check
• Pass a drug screen
• Must either have an existing license/certification or acquire one with company training assistance
