Lead Teachers

You're the heartbeat of the classroom. You'll design engaging days using our P.L.A.N. curriculum, build real relationships with your students, and set the tone for a safe, joyful, well-run room.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead daily activities using our P.L.A.N. curriculum
• Build strong, trusting bonds with students and their families
• Own classroom management — creating a consistent, positive environment for kids and staff
• Support each child's physical, social-emotional, and developmental growth
• Communicate clearly and warmly with families, colleagues, and your community

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant classroom experience
• Bachelor's degree (preferably in education or a related field)
• MSDE 90hr Preschool Certificate or CDA Certification with Preschool Endorsement (minimum)
• Solid grasp of child development principles and instructional strategies
• Working knowledge of MSDE regulations
• Warm, friendly, and unflappable demeanor
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Reliability and punctuality

Assistant Teachers

You're the extra set of hands, eyes, and hugs every classroom needs. This role is ideal if you're supporting a lead teacher or building experience toward leading your own room.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher in bringing our P.L.A.N. curriculum to life
• Help build a safe, nurturing space where kids feel secure and loved
• Float between classrooms as needed to support our thriving school
• Support each child's day-to-day needs with patience and care
• Bring positive energy to your team, students, and their families

Requirements

• 1–3 years of preschool experience
• MSDE 90hr Preschool Certificate or CDA Certification with Preschool Endorsement (minimum)
• Team-first attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed
• Good communication skills and a calm, friendly presence
• Reliability and punctuality

Where You'll Work

• Congressional Plaza/Rockville — A modern campus in bustling Rockville, within walking distance to Twinbrook Metro.
• BCC - Bethesda-Chevy Chase — A multi-level campus in downtown Bethesda, within walking distance to Bethesda Metro.
• Montgomery Square/Potomac — Located on the border of Rockville and Potomac on Falls Road. Our only bilingual campus with English-Spanish programming in all classes.

Pay

• Lead Teacher: $22.00–$25.00/hour
• Assistant Teacher/Aide: $18.00–$23.00/hour

Pay ranges by location: $18–$23/hour (Congressional Plaza), $20–$25/hour (Montgomery Square and Bethesda-Chevy Chase).

Per Maryland State Department of Education Office of Child Care regulations, all applicants must pass a state and federal background check. Applicants for our federal center campuses must also receive GSA security clearance through a government background screening.
