Responsibilities

• Provides mental health screening assessments and makes appropriate interventions and referrals.
• Delivers a full range of mental health treatment services, including:
  • Mobile Outreach/Screening
  • Responding to hotline calls
  • Assessments and crisis counseling
  • Interventions and case management
  • Participation in interdisciplinary treatment planning, recordkeeping, consultation, and education
• Provides care to patients ranging in age from child (5 years) through geriatric.

Requirements

One of the following education and work experience combinations:

• Master's Degree and 1 year full-time post-Masters experience in a Mental Health Setting, or
• Bachelor's Degree and 3 years full-time post-Masters experience in a Mental Health Setting, 1 of which is in a CRISIS setting, or
• Bachelor's Degree and currently enrolled in a Master's program or related field, plus 2 years full-time post-Bachelors Mental Health experience, one of which is in a CRISIS setting (per DMHS).

A CRISIS setting is defined as a designated screening center, a designated emergency service, or a psychiatric inpatient unit.

Preferred qualifications: MSW, MS, or MA; BS or BA in Clinical Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work. Licensure in an appropriate discipline is preferred.

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $25.00 to $33.75 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
