About the role

We are looking for a motivated driver to primarily transport Evers and Sons employees, position and move trucks and trailers to and from yard facilities and/or well locations. On occasion, deliveries may be required throughout the region.

Responsibilities

  • Assist employees getting on and off the bus, utilizing the safest mode for assistance
  • Complete bus trip logs and required routes in a safe and efficient manner
  • Organize and coordinate routes to maintain efficiency and productivity
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the bus
  • Proactively complete tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures to meet transportation targets
  • Ensure safe and timely delivery of employees while complying with DOT/ATF regulations
  • Fill out daily inspection logs at the beginning of each trip
  • Operate company-owned and leased vehicles safely and timely
  • Maintain a valid CDL license, CDL Medical Card, Hazmat Endorsement, Air Brake Endorsement, and all required certifications
  • Report all incidences (accidents, property damage, theft, loss, maintenance, or safety issues) to supervisor
  • Accurately complete daily vehicle inspection forms
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations, including DOT and OSHA
  • Always wear valid PPE and keep a legal and accurate EDL log
  • Perform additional tasks to support and improve team operations
  • Keep work area, tools, and equipment clean and in working condition
  • Be professional and courteous in dealings with employees, customers, and vendors
  • Follow all company policies and procedures and obtain required certifications (e.g., BBP, First Aid, CPR, PEC, H2S, AED, DOT Medical Card)

Requirements

  • At least 23 years of age
  • Class "D" Chauffeur’s driver’s license or CDL with passenger endorsement
  • 1-2 years of experience in driving for an oil & gas manufacturer
  • Must pass MVR and background check requirements
  • Must have a DOT Medical Certification Card and any other certifications required by DOT and OSHA
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English (bilingual Spanish/English preferred)

Qualifications

  • GED and/or high school diploma and/or 1 year of passenger hauling experience
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred
