Key Responsibilities
- Review applicant completed eQIP forms and other related and necessary forms for the initiation of background investigations.
- Aid applicants with corrective actions concerning completion/submission of personnel security documents.
- Aid customers with eQIP submissions, perform applicable entries into the Office of Security and Strategic Information (OSSI) personnel security database, schedule fingerprint appointments if required, and perform other clerical duties as needed.
- Track personnel security documents to ensure accurate processing.
- Maintain customer service administrative functions when applicable.
Qualifications
- Ace in Associate degree or equivalent experience in relevant field.
- Two (2) years of experience processing and reviewing eQIP applications and providing customer service in a government personnel security office environment.
- Experience with initiating SF-85s and/or SF-86s through eQIP system.
- Knowledgeable of OPM processing and requirements for submission of eQIP.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications.
