About the role
You will serve as a Personnel Security Specialist in the Security Division of NAWCTSD Orlando.
Responsibilities
- Initiate and validate requisite Personnel Security Investigations (PSI) for all civilian, military and as needed for contract personnel in accordance with established internal and external policies.
- Initiate, review and route Periodic Reinvestigations (PR) for Continuous Vetting (CV) in accordance with Deputy Undersecretary of the Navy and Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency policies.
- Monitor the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) for changes in eligibility, requests for information, statement of reasons, outgoing and incoming visit requests and respond in accordance with established policies.
- Manage the PERSEC Internal Risk Management assessable unit as the subject matter expert.
- Ensure all systems of record accurately reflect the suitability adjudicative determination.
Pay
Minimum Salary: $87,061 — Maximum Salary: $135,657
