Trainer/Coach Responsibilities

  • Uphold the mission and core values of Alloy
  • Attend all scheduled staff meetings
  • Wear Alloy uniform during all training shifts (black pants/shorts and approved Alloy logoed top)
  • Arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled shift
  • Clock in and clock out using MindBody software
  • Cue up appropriate daily workout on TV
  • Set up equipment needed for daily workout
  • Load all client information in the Alloy app for all small group training sessions on your schedule before the shift begins
  • Review the client information
  • Apply the Alloy workouts to the clients appropriately as prescribed by the Director of Training
  • Implement all corrective exercises, restrictions and any special communication as it is written by the Director of Training
  • Promote the message of the week during ALL coached sessions
  • Record all workouts and appropriate notes regarding each client and their visit in the Alloy app
  • Remain on the training floor during your shift
  • Check-out all clients in MindBody software
  • Follow-up with all no-shows
  • Send thank you and “at a boy” to members/clients via Alloy operating system
  • Complete the tasks listed on the closing checklist at the end of the morning and evening shifts
  • Participate in outreach, events and business to business functions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a personal trainer or in other related fields
  • Ability to coach all fitness levels
  • Passion for health/wellness and fitness
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain high energy and positive attitude
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certification
  • Recognized Professional Personal and/or Group Training Certification preferred but not required
