About the role

We are adding a part-time Health Coach/Personal Trainer for the South Tulsa studio. The Exercise Coach brand was built on the belief that staying strong and healthy shouldn’t feel like a hassle. Our proprietary, data-driven workouts are coach-led 100% of the time, safe, and help clients achieve results with just one to three 20-minute sessions per week. The studio is quiet, clean, professional, and distraction-free, offering a comfortable setting rather than crowded or intimidating environments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct 100% coach-led, data-driven training sessions using proprietary strength and interval technology.
  • Adapt every second of each workout to the client’s individual ability and goals.
  • Build relationships and deliver clear, professional instructions to clients in person, by phone, and digitally.
  • Show energy and excitement while working with clients of all ages and fitness levels.
  • Stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, climb, and lift frequently throughout the day.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1–2 years of client-facing customer service experience.
  • CPR/AED Certification (can be obtained during our training program).

Skills

  • Passion for Health & Fitness: This is foundational.
  • Effective Communication: Comfortable conversing in person, by phone, and digitally; able to deliver clear instructions.
  • People Skills and Personality: Must genuinely enjoy working with people and bringing energy to sessions.
  • Health and Fitness Knowledge: Working knowledge of the human body and components of good health and fitness.
  • Physical Demands: Standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, climbing, and lifting are frequent.

Preferred Skills

  • Degree in a business or health-related field from an accredited institution.
  • Basic nutrition knowledge.
  • Experience with various strength training applications.
  • Experience working with older adults or clients with strength/range-of-motion limitations.

Pay

  • During training: base salary of $13/hour as a TEC employee.
  • After certification (within ~1 month): base salary of $17–$21/hour.
  • Base compensation is never commission-based; you are paid for your time whether training clients or not.

Schedule

  • Studio hours: Monday–Thursday 6:00 am–8:00 pm, Friday 6:00 am–6:00 pm, Saturday 7:00 am–1:00 pm.
  • Seeking candidates available 3–4 weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings; can start with 24–32 hours/week with potential to transition to full-time for high performers.
