About the role
We are looking for a part-time Health Coach/Personal Trainer for our South Tulsa studio. The Exercise Coach® brand is built on the belief that staying strong and healthy shouldn’t feel like a hassle. Our proprietary, data-driven workout process helps clients achieve their fitness goals with just one to three 20-minute sessions per week, led by a coach 100% of the time. The studio offers a quiet, clean, professional, and distraction-free environment with top-of-the-line equipment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct safe, effective, and efficient exercise sessions for clients of all ages.
- Provide personalized coaching and motivation to help clients reach their health and fitness goals.
- Adapt workouts in real-time using proprietary strength and interval technology.
- Maintain a professional, energetic, and supportive demeanor with clients.
- Assist with studio operations, including equipment maintenance and client scheduling.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1–2 years of client-facing customer service experience.
- CPR/AED Certification (can be obtained during training).
Qualifications
- Passion for Health & Fitness.
- Effective communication skills (in-person, phone, and digital).
- Strong people skills and enthusiasm for working with diverse clients.
- Basic understanding of human anatomy, health, and fitness principles.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, climb, and lift frequently throughout the day.
Preferred Skills
- Degree in a business or health-related field from an accredited institution.
- Basic nutrition knowledge.
- Experience with strength training applications.
- Experience working with older adults or clients with strength/range-of-motion limitations.
Training
- No prior personal training experience is required—we provide full training and certification.
- During training, you will be paid a base salary of $13/hour as a TEC employee.
- Upon certification (within approximately one month), your base salary increases to $17–$21/hour.
- Base compensation is hourly and not commission-based; you are paid for your time whether training clients or not.

Schedule
- Studio hours: Monday–Thursday 6:00 AM–8:00 PM, Friday 6:00 AM–6:00 PM, Saturday 7:00 AM–1:00 PM.
- Ideal availability: 3–4 weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings.
- Start with 24–32 hours per week; high performers may transition to full-time.
