Personal Shopper Lead - Sam's– New Club Opening Katy, TX!
Build something new. Lead with purpose. Grow without limits. At Sam’s Club, we’re opening a brand new location in Katy, Texas, and we’re looking for a Personal Shopper Lead who is member obsessed, hands-on, and ready to help build the team from the ground up.
About the role
This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced environment with the unique opportunity to help launch and shape a new Sam’s Club location from day one.
Responsibilities
- Train, coach, and support associates to deliver strong performance and great member service
- Reinforce expectations, provide feedback, and recognize accomplishments
- Support hiring, scheduling, and day-to-day development of associates
- Keep merchandise stocked, organized, and ready for members
- Ensure Club Pickup (online order pickup) is accurate, on time, and easy for members to collect
- Jump in to problem-solve and keep operations moving in a fast-paced environment
- Create a welcoming, helpful experience for every member
- Resolve concerns quickly and confidently
- Assist members with purchases, questions, and self-service tools
- Use basic performance metrics to identify opportunities and improve results
- Help streamline processes to make work easier for the team
- Partner with club leadership to keep operations running efficiently
- Maintain a clean, safe environment for associates and members
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Requirements
- Experience leading others or stepping into a leadership role
- Ability to stay organized and focused in a fast-paced environment
- A team-first mindset with strong accountability and ownership
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow with the business
- Must be 18 years of age or older

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 to $29.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
