Personal Lines Licensed Service Advisor

About the role

You will advise and provide high-quality service to personal insurance clients. You will communicate with clients over phone, email, and in person. You will identify client needs and proactively recommend additional products and coverages when appropriate. You will properly prepare quotes and present to the client. You will report claims on behalf of clients and offer guidance throughout the process. You will follow all necessary agency procedures and maintain high underwriting standards to best serve our clients. You will work collaboratively as a part of a team to fulfill the needs of our clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, interacting with customers over email, phone, and/or in person
• Ability to learn quickly, from understanding agency processes and procedures to adeptly utilizing our Agency Management Software system (Applied Epic)
• Eagerness to work in a team environment
• Superior multi-tasking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience working in the Insurance industry is a bonus, but not required
• Currently hold a Property & Casualty License, or ability to pass licensing exam within first 60 days of starting the position
• If not currently licensed, MetzWood will pay for cost of licensing course and provide time during normal working hours to complete necessary training
