Personal Lines Insurance Producer

About the role

This is an independent contractor position for an insurance Producer who wants flexibility and freedom to control their own earning potential. The agency is actively hiring Personal Lines Producers across the nation.

Responsibilities

• Managing the needs of prospective and existing clients while delivering tailored coverage solutions and competitive pricing
• Meeting and exceeding sales goals set by the agency
• Managing accounts written until generated revenue substantiates assigning an Account Manager to handle service, claims, and renewals
• Serving as the primary point of contact for new and existing client inquiries, communicating professionally and building strong relationships
• Maintaining client retention
• Working with carrier partners to market accounts, review coverage options, and negotiate renewals
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records within the agency management system, including documenting all client and carrier communications and updating policy information in accordance with agency procedures

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Property & Casualty License
• At least 1 year of experience in Personal Lines, preferably in an independent agency setting
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task with a high level of accuracy
• Self-motivated with excellent organization and time management skills
• Strong negotiation skills coupled with proven sales results
• Must live in the continental US (this is a remote position)

Qualifications

• Background in risk management and/or sales is a plus

Compensation

• 50% new business commission
• 50% renewal commission
• Eligibility for Profit Sharing and Bonus (determined by specific guidelines and performance goals)
