Seeking a motivated and customer-focused Personal Lines Insurance Agent to join a growing team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals and families to offer tailored insurance solutions, helping them protect their assets and plan for the future. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator, an effective problem solver, and committed to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing personalized advice and guidance on personal insurance policies, including home, auto, and other lines of coverage.
  • Assess clients' needs to suggest appropriate insurance solutions, focusing on long-term protection and financial security.
  • Educate clients on the benefits and limitations of policy options to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Prepare and present quotes, process applications, and finalize policy documentation with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to enhance client portfolios.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, compliance regulations, and product offerings to better serve clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer inquiries, claims, or billing matters promptly and professionally.
  • Continuously develop expertise through professional training and certification programs.

Requirements

  • A valid state license to sell insurance products is required or must be obtained within a specific timeframe upon hire.
  • Previous experience (1–3 years) in personal lines insurance or a related sales/customer service role is preferred but not required.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
