About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Personal Lines Insurance Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of personal lines insurance products and a passion for helping clients find the best coverage options. As a Personal Lines Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for building relationships with clients, assessing their needs, and recommending suitable insurance solutions.Key Responsibilities
- Client Consultation: Meet with new and existing clients to assess their personal insurance needs.
- Product Recommendations: Present appropriate insurance products, including home, auto, renters, and other personal lines coverages.
- Sales and Policy Management: Generate new business by proactively seeking out potential clients and maintaining ongoing relationships with existing clients.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries, policy changes, and claims assistance.
- Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to offer additional insurance products that meet the client’s needs.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of client interactions and policy details in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Networking: Develop and maintain a network of contacts in the community to drive new business.
Requirements
- Licence: WA state insurance license required
- Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in personal lines insurance required.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance products and industry regulations.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Ability to build relationships and trust with clients.
- Technology: Proficiency in insurance management software and basic Microsoft Office applications.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
