About the Role

The Personal Risk Account Manager is responsible for working with Advisors/Client Executives and Account Executives to service client accounts. This position supports day-to-day account management for a specific set of clients and involves extensive verbal, electronic, and written communications. You will handle the marketing and renewal process in collaboration with Account Executives and Advisors, prepare materials for presentations, and assist with client servicing. You will take an active role in client meetings, develop and maintain relationships with clients and carrier contacts, and proactively deliver services. This role includes managing your own book of business.

This is a full-time role based in our Wilmington, NC office with standard work hours of Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. EST. An in-office presence is ideal for collaboration and client service, though candidates within a reasonable commuting distance may work on a hybrid schedule. A fully remote option may be considered for highly experienced, P&C-licensed professionals outside a regular commuting distance but within the EST/Mid-Atlantic region, with occasional office reporting required.

Responsibilities

• Work proactively to maintain relationships with carrier and client contacts.
• Lead client meetings for assigned accounts.
• Handle the renewal and marketing process from start to finish in collaboration with Account Executives and Advisors.
• Communicate directly with clients and carriers, in coordination with Account Executives or Advisor/Client Executives.
• Create and maintain client files in accordance with office procedures.
• Keep client policy records updated in the agency management system.
• Manage an assigned book of business.

Requirements

• More than 2 years of Personal Lines experience, including recent retail brokerage or agency experience.
• Experience with East Coast markets preferred.
• EPIC or similar agency management systems experience is required.
• HS Diploma or equivalent is required; additional education and/or related training is preferred.
• A P&C Insurance License is required upon hire.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $57,000 to $62,000. The offered salary will be determined by factors including experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level, scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis. This position may also be eligible for performance-based incentives.

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. EST. Hybrid or fully remote options may be available under specific conditions.
