Responsibilities
- Manage and service an assigned book of small commercial lines business, including renewals, policy changes, billing inquiries, and day-to-day account servicing.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, carriers, and internal team members.
- Deliver proactive risk management guidance tailored to client operations and exposures.
- Review client insurance needs regularly to help ensure coverage remains aligned with changing business operations.
- Provide responsive, high-quality customer service and address client concerns in a timely manner.
- Support new business production efforts in collaboration with producers and account executives.
- Evaluate client risk exposures and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and support process improvement initiatives that enhance the client experience.
- Participate in client and carrier meetings as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
- 2+ years of commercial lines insurance experience preferred.
- Strong communication, customer service, and relationship management skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with agency management software, including Applied EPIC, preferred.
- Understanding of commercial insurance workflows and servicing procedures.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Pay
Salary range: $50,000 – $60,000 annually, with flexibility based on experience and qualifications.
