Personal Lines Account Manager
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Aid Account Executives in marketing and servicing clients within the account team.
- Build relationships with clients and answer basic insurance questions.
- Maintain appropriate business contacts with clients.
- Issue insurance binders and process invoices for new and renewal policies.
- Handle change requests from clients, receive endorsements from insurance carriers, and ensure accuracy before invoicing and sending to clients.
- Review and invoice premium audits, explaining any additional or returned premiums clearly.
- Update the Applied/Epic system and shared drive to reflect changes during the coverage term.
- Create loss runs for renewal submissions and prepare loss summaries.
- Generate ID cards and certificates of insurance.
- Complete surplus lines filings.
- Perform preliminary policy checks and submit change requests to the underwriter.
- Follow up on open activities.
- Obtain premium finance quotes and flood zone determinations and NFIP quotes.
- Manage other duties and projects as assigned.
Work Experience
Requires 2-3 years of insurance experience.
Technical Skills
- Basic knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance coverage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to navigate vendor or agency management systems.
- Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.
- Good organizational skills.
- Attention to accuracy and detail.
Physical Demands
May require lifting up to 25 pounds. Travel is required up to 10% of the time.

Pay
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. Some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on individual performance and/or the company's performance.
