Account Manager Role

• Servicing the day-to-day needs of insureds and managing client renewals
• Fielding calls, emails, and other communications related to coverage questions, policy changes, payments, cancellations, etc.
• Managing the client renewal process, including obtaining updated information, marketing, terms and pricing negotiation, quote review, presentation of renewal numbers to the client, and invoicing
• Managing client relationships to ensure satisfaction
• Delegating work to Assistant Account Managers to ensure workload appropriateness
• Managing relationships with underwriters to achieve positive results for clients and negotiating coverage with underwriters
• Ensuring the completion and accuracy of proposals, binding of coverage, review of policies for accuracy, and creation of client policy summaries and binders
• Setting up and maintaining electronic records
• Using best practices and internal broker standards for service and maintenance of client files and information
• Collaborating with team members to share and educate on coverage, exposures, and client knowledge

Qualifications

• Well versed in customer service with excellent verbal and written communications
• At least 3 years of insurance account management experience, preferably with EPIC
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office products
