About the role

The Personal Lines Account Manager provides high-level sales support and exceptional customer service to clients. This role requires strong independent judgment and discretion to consistently deliver superior service. The Account Manager contributes to the growth and retention of both new and renewal business in alignment with agency goals and offers field support to address client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Quoting new business and remarketing renewals as needed
  • Updating all necessary items in management system and sending to client as needed
  • Receiving and responding to client emails, phone calls, requests for endorsements, certificates, etc.; maintaining accurate and current electronic files documenting such requests are handled.
  • Providing necessary client documents, checklists, and proposals.
  • Using support tools (electronic tasks and expiration/renewal reports) to maintain an organized and effective workstation.
  • Establishing working relationships with clients, potential clients, and the companies we represent via phone, email, and written correspondence.
  • Supporting teammates with follow-up for clients and prospects.
  • Researching and resolving coverage questions.
  • Promptly responding to client needs either on the phone or electronically.
  • Cultivating new opportunities and offering additional lines of insurance through consultative selling.
  • Aiding with other office duties as they arise and are needed.

Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years' experience as a Personal Lines Account Manager or similar
  • Possess Property and Casualty Insurance License
  • Proficient in AMS360 and ImageRight (Worksmart) is preferred but not required
