Responsibilities
- Work in a team environment with all members of the Personal Insurance department.
- Build relationships with clients and take ownership of account activities.
- Handle policy changes, renewals, and claims processing.
- Advise clients on comprehensive coverage and value proposition.
- Conduct coverage and exposure reviews with existing clients.
- Call out to new clients within 30-45 days of their new business effective date.
- Determine and address outstanding issues with clients.
- Contact carriers for rate relief options and coverage reinstatement.
- Quote and issue mid-term rewrites as needed.
- Review and discuss renewal increases with management.
- Contact clients who have cancelled or requested cancellation of their insurance policy.
- Communicate with insurance company underwriters to resolve issues.
- Document all interactions and maintain client contact information.
- Handle routine service matters when necessary.
- Stay informed on insurance coverage issues and participate in seminars.
- Maintain proficiency in relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, with College Degree Preferred.
- At least 1-3 years of Insurance Experience.
- Professional Certifications/Licenses: Property & Casualty Agents/Brokers License.
- Strong customer service experience.
- Ability to use menu-driven software and manage multiple tasks.
- Good organizational skills.
- Age 18 or older.
