Personal Injury Pre Suit Attorney

About the Role

Morgan & Morgan is seeking a Personal Injury Pre-Suit Litigation Attorney to join its growing practice in our Detroit, MI office. The Pre-Suit Litigation Attorney will handle motor vehicle accident cases in pre-litigation. Michigan Bar license required.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of all pre-litigation work
• Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval
• Guide clients through the case process
• Drafting and filing of pre-litigation documents
• Complete TD approval for liability issues
• Oversee settlement negotiations and the formation of demand packages
• Manage the release approval process
• Manage a team of 6-10 Case Managers
• Focus on personal injury cases, primarily premises
• Drive compliance and KPIs amongst team
• Handle EUOs, PIP Statements, and recorded statements

Requirements

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school
• Active member in good standing with the MI State Bar Association
• 2+ years of personal injury experience
• Ability to manage a high volume of pre-litigation cases
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
