About the role

Established and growing Chicago Loop Personal Injury and Workers Compensation law firm seeks two experienced attorneys. Seeking one lawyer for personal injury and one lawyer for workers compensation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and be responsible for a high volume caseload.
  • Work with law firm state-of-the-art AI and software systems and follow firm protocols.
  • Provide quality client experience through verbal and written updates.
  • Litigate with a client-first mindset focusing on "Injury Law Made Personal."
  • Collaborate and/or train support staff, co-lawyers, and everyone connected to Ankin Law.
  • Make time for case strategy and discussions especially on high-value or high-expert cost cases.
  • Work towards achieving a reputation as a leader in the field of injury law.

Requirements

  • Track record demonstrating exceptional lawyering skills.
  • Ability to manage caseload without sacrificing client experience.
  • A work-life balance allowing for trial work and case preparation.
  • A mindset focused on representing clients and maximizing recovery.
  • Willingness to work at least 50 hours a week to make a difference in clients' lives.
  • Ability and willingness to handle difficult conversations with tact and grace.
  • Licensed to practice in the State of Illinois with no blemish on reputation.

Pay

Beginning career attorneys typically start around $100,000. Seasoned attorneys typically have a base salary of $100,000-$200,000 with a clearly defined compensation structure based on performance with no upper end cap.

Schedule

This is a full-time position requiring at least 50 hours per week.
