Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

About the role

This is a true litigation role supporting WGK Personal Injury Lawyers' attorneys in active personal injury lawsuits. The majority of your caseload will involve filed matters in Maryland state and federal courts, with a focus on auto accident and premises liability cases. High-value cases anticipated for mediation or arbitration may also fall within your scope from the outset.

Responsibilities

• Manage discovery requests and responses
• Prepare documents for court filings and depositions
• Research legal precedents and statutes
• Coordinate with clients and opposing counsel
• Assist with case strategy and preparation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies or related field
• At least 2 years of relevant litigation paralegal experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Qualifications

• Adaptability to handle high-volume caseloads
• Experience with electronic document management systems
• Knowledge of Maryland state and federal court procedures

Pay

$33.65 - $38.50 hourly
