Personal Injury Claims Examiner
About the Role
As a Personal Injury Claims Examiner, you'll provide reassurance and assistance that make a difference in our customers' lives. You will guide policyholders through the complicated medical aspects of auto insurance claims, as you deliver world-class service. You will investigate medical necessity, determine casualty, evaluate the validity of personal injury insurance claims, and monitor case files over the course of treatment.
How You'll Make a Difference
- Customer Interaction: Consult with involved parties (customers, other carriers, attorneys, medical providers), secure medical information, and review insurance contracts, associated reports, and billing documentation.
- Problem Resolution: Resolve customer concerns, ensuring a positive experience.
- Meaningful Impact: Drive customer satisfaction through meaningful interactions.
What We're Looking For
- Customer-facing Claims experience preferred.
- Experience in high-volume call centers with KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and measurable goals preferred.
- Active Adjusters license preferred (training and exam fees provided).
- High School Diploma or GED required; College degree preferred.
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, problem-solving, and empathy skills.
- Adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and multitask across platforms.
- Available to work Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM.
Pay
Annual Salary $29.00 - $45.28. The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
