Personal Injury Attorney

For over 50 years, we have been recognized as one of New York's leading personal injury law firms. As we grow our team, we are seeking a Personal Injury Attorney to join our Manhattan office.

About the role

The attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting research, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in personal injury cases on a day-to-day basis. Must have Personal Injury experience and be admitted to the New Jersey State Bar.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on personal injury matters.
• Conduct legal research and analyze case law to support the development of legal strategies.
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in various legal proceedings, including pre-trial conferences, depositions, and mediations.
• Draft legal documents such as complaints, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and other staff to ensure the smooth handling of cases.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New Jersey State Bar (New York Admission a plus).
• Personal Injury experience.
• Proven ability to provide legal advice, conduct research, and negotiate settlements.
• Strong advocacy and negotiation skills, with the ability to represent clients effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
