Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain membership for Legacy’s Wellness Program
• Perform and document LiveFit services with residents following company policy and procedures under guidance of the Rehabilitation Director/Area Rehab Director
• Provide personal fitness through Legacy’s LiveFit program and complete required billing and documentation
• Deliver LiveFit treatment plans in accordance with Legacy’s programs
• Develop fitness plans to improve health, fitness levels, and meet members’ fitness goals
• Provide group fitness and wellness services through the LiveFit Program
• Meet efficiency standards as set by the company
• Participate in department and facility meetings
• Promote wellness, independence, and overall functionality among senior resident population
• Provide a fun and challenging experience; discuss, motivate, and teach fitness members to improve and maintain fitness and strength
• Identify goals and deliver tailored exercise plans for personal fitness and group sessions in accordance with Legacy’s program structure
• Assist with marketing the LiveFit program to increase membership

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• College graduate preferred with a bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., exercise science, kinesiology)
• Personal training or group fitness certification from a nationally recognized and accredited organization (e.g., ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ISSA) or willingness to obtain
• Preferred 1+ year of personal training or group fitness experience
• Previous experience with the senior population desirable
• Current CPR/AED certification
