Personal Caregiver/CNA

About the Role

At Assisting Hands Home Care, our caregivers provide one-on-one support that allows seniors and individuals to continue living safely and comfortably at home. We're looking for Caregivers, CNAs, and Home Health Aides who take pride in helping others and want to be part of a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
• Helping with meals and light housekeeping
• Providing companionship and conversation
• Assisting with walking, mobility, and daily routines
• Helping clients stay active and engaged
• Providing reminders and support throughout the day
• Following the client's established care plan
• Reporting changes, concerns, or important updates to the office
• Maintaining accurate documentation of the care you provide
• Helping create a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment where clients can maintain independence

Requirements

• Compassionate and genuinely enjoy helping others
• Patient and respectful
• Dependable and accountable
• Comfortable providing one-on-one care in a client's home
• Able to work independently while following a care plan
• Flexible and willing to travel to different client locations
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance

At least 1 year of caregiving experience is preferred. Experience as a caregiver, CNA, HHA, private-duty caregiver, or home care professional is highly valued but not required. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Caregivers must be willing to travel to other communities within our service area when client assignments require it.
