Job Description

As a Personal Care Attendant or Certified Nursing Assistant working in Personal Care, your scope of responsibilities will include but is not limited to:

• Providing direct care to residents with a variety of functional levels; from those who are alert, oriented, and relatively independent, to those who need assistance with several activities of daily living or those who require cuing due to cognitive impairment.
• Assisting residents with general housekeeping duties as well as serving and monitoring meals.
• Participating in the review/revision of resident support plans and family meetings.
• Observing and reporting changes in residents to nursing supervisors.
• Documenting provided care in electronic care tracker.
• Treating residents with respect in accordance with the resident’s Bill of Rights.
• Maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior experience working with older adults is preferred.
• Must possess a compassionate style of communicating with residents, families, team members and guests of CKV.
