About the role
The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) at Manchester Commons in Erie, PA, assists residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), serves meals, accompanies residents to activities, and helps with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
Responsibilities
- Assists residents with bathing and toileting to maintain good hygiene and self-esteem.
- Serves meals or monitors eating/drinking habits.
- Accompanies residents to various activities.
- Aids in the admission, discharge, and transfer of residents to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- High school diploma or GED, or documentation that the GED or high school diploma will be received within 6 months of hire.
- Ability to effectively interact with residents, resident families, and team members.
