About the role
Griswold Care for the Greater Twin Cities is seeking a part-time Personal Care Assistant / PCA to provide non-medical care and home companionship to senior clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and caregiving assistance within clients' homes
- Assess and prioritize daily tasks such as meal preparation, grocery shopping, and light housekeeping
- Assist with non-medical elderly care tasks including feeding and bathing
- Preserve client dignity and provide gentle, professional care
- Communicate regularly with the office about client needs and conditions
- Log and submit accurate documentation of caregiving activities
Qualifications
- Reliable transportation and current valid driver's license
- 18 years of age or older
- Willingness to travel up to 25 miles
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2+ years of home care experience preferred
