Job Summary
Acts is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in our assisted living neighborhood. We offer competitive rates, shift differentials, referral bonuses, paid training and certification opportunities, and flexible scheduling.
What You Will Do
- Provide personal care in accordance with the residents' care plan, including assisting with basic hygiene and grooming needs (bathing, dressing, oral care, etc.)
- Administer and remind residents about medications in accordance with policies and procedures
- Assist the Life Enrichment team members with activities and special events
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No prior experience required, but completion of the DHS 6-hour Direct Care training course and DHS Medication Administration course within the first 30 days of employment is mandatory
- CPR and first aid certified or willing to obtain certification
