Qualifications
- Previous caregiving, PCA, CNA, HHA, or home care experience preferred
- Caregivers must be authorized to work in the United States
Requirements
- Caregivers must be compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Caregivers must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Caregivers must have the ability to work independently and responsibly
- Caregivers must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Caregivers must be able to pass a background check
Skills
- Ability to observe and report changes in client condition
- Able to maintain accurate documentation of care provided
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Help with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Auxiliary with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Provide medication reminders
- Accompany clients to appointments and errands
