About the role
The Personal Care Assistant / Caregiver position is available at Wallick Senior Living facilities located in Oakleaf Village and The Grove. This role is full-time, part-time, or per diem.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents.
- Perform all aspects of physical resident care, including personal hygiene and grooming.
- Answer call lights promptly and address resident and family needs.
- Motivate and encourage resident participation in activities.
- Absorb and assist residents to and from activities, dining rooms, and other functions within the community.
- Lift, turn, and reposition residents as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CPR Certified. Nurse Aide Certification is a plus but not required.
- Effective communication skills to interact with co-workers, residents, family members, and peers.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
- Previous experience working in an Assisted Living or Memory Care Community is a plus.
