Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance with daily living and hygiene needs
- Support clients with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and household tasks
- Offer companionship and emotional support during in-home care visits
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and comfortable home environment for clients
Requirements
- Required Qualifications: Certified PCA or HHA through a NYSDOH training program, recent experience working under your certificate within the past 2 years through a licensed agency, fluent in English, eligible to work in the United States, able to lift or transfer clients weighing an average of 150 lbs, with or without assistance, according to the care plan, must live within a 25-mile radius of assigned cases in Long Island or Queens, including Suffolk and Nassau counties
- PREFERRED Qualifications: Ability to communicate in English and one additional language, availability to work weekends, availability to work live-in shifts
