About the role

We are seeking reliable direct support staff to provide one-on-one non-medical care to our intellectually disabled clients. Job training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing)
• Companionship
• Light housekeeping and chores
• Respecting the patient's privacy and maintaining confidentiality
• Aid in creating a safe environment for the client
• Supporting the achievement of individual goals and outcomes
• Transporting clients for community outings and activities

Requirements

• Experience in home care
• Current drivers license
• Experience with dementia (for some locations)
