Personal Care Aide (PCA) Evening Shift

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs.
• Provide compassionate assistance while promoting resident dignity, independence, comfort, and safety.
• Observe residents and communicate changes or concerns to the appropriate team member.
• Assist with maintaining necessary resident care supplies and notify leadership when additional supplies are needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Communicate and work effectively with residents, families, coworkers, and other members of the care team.
• Work independently while contributing to a positive, collaborative team environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or facility leadership.

Qualifications

• A genuine desire to care for and support older adults.
• Dependable, compassionate, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and coworkers.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Current Medication Technician certification preferred.
• Previous personal care, assisted living, senior living, or related caregiving experience preferred.
