Personal Care Aide (PCA) / Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

Requirements

• A high school diploma (or equivalent)
• Active PCA Certificate in GA (Interim can assist with PCA certification)
• Available at least 20 hours per week and every other weekend
• One (1) year of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• Current hands-on CPR and First Aid certification
• Current TB screening within 12 months
• Valid GA driver’s license, auto insurance and personal vehicle

Schedule

Scheduled hours will vary based on client needs. Hours are not guaranteed and may fluctuate from week to week.

Qualifications
