Personal Care Aide - Caregiver

About the role

Comforting Home Care by Phoebe is seeking part-time Personal Care Aides - Caregivers in Sinking Spring, PA. This role offers flexible scheduling, time-and-a-half pay on major holidays, and a $100 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with daily activities such as showering, preparing meals, and mobility exercises
• Accompany clients to medical appointments
• Offer companionship and light housekeeping services
• Administer medication reminders
• Ensure clients feel safe, cared for, and valued in their own home

Requirements

• Experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to perform job functions with or without accommodations
• Compassionate and supportive demeanor
• Willingness to learn and grow through ongoing training

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a related field
• Pass a background check and drug screening

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Patience and empathy
• Basic computer skills (for scheduling and record-keeping)
