Personal Care Aide

About the role

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.
• Support clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Offer household support tasks like light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, meal preparation and feeding, range of motion/exercises, assisting with ambulation, medication reminders, and more.

Requirements

• Previous home health care or patient care experience preferred, but not required. Training provided.
• A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.
• A commitment to being present and providing quality care.
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
• Ability to travel to clients' homes as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Pass background check and drug screening.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to travel to various client locations.

Pay

$20 - $25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
