About the Role

This position is ideal for someone looking to build a career in finance. We provide training and coaching during onboarding and ongoing development. As you demonstrate success, opportunities for advancement within the organization will arise.

As a Relationship Banker I, you will:

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Serve as an effective communicator, motivating others while being responsive to their needs.
  • Handle detailed work efficiently and accurately within established guidelines.
  • Uphold and contribute to maintaining guidelines, structure, and policies.
  • Provide exceptional client service to a diverse audience, including developing relationships with business partners and clients.
  • Introduce clients to new products, services, and digital solutions using tablets, smartphones, and laptops.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of mortgage, business, and installment loan options, as well as a broad range of financial and credit services.
  • Assist other departments as needed, build rapport with clients and associates, and treat everyone with respect regardless of their status or position.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Desired Skills:

  • Previous banking, cash handling, or financial service experience.
  • 6+ months of demonstrated successful sales experience.
  • Bilingual language skills.
  • Passionate and motivated self-starter.
  • Passion for educating clients on banking products and digital technologies.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to complete work accurately.
  • Logical thinking to analyze situations and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with multiple computer and software systems.
  • Ability to calculate figures such as cash back and percentages.
