Responsibilities

  • Work with and through others to build and maintain relationships.
  • Train and coach a successful team using strong decision-making skills under Banking Center leadership guidance.
  • Communicate effectively to motivate others while addressing their needs and concerns.
  • Handle detailed tasks quickly, correctly, and efficiently within established guidelines.
  • Maintain and uphold guidelines, structure, and policies in collaboration with others.
  • Provide exceptional service to a diverse audience, including developing relationships with business partners and clients.
  • Introduce clients to new products, services, and digital solutions.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of mortgage, business, and installment loan options, offering a broad range of financial and credit services.
  • Assist other departments as needed, building rapport with clients and associates while treating everyone with respect.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent.
  • Must become registered and licensed in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) as required by the S.A.F.E. Act and NBH’s compliance policies, including passing a background check.
  • Valid driver’s license (no learner’s, restricted, or “to and from work” licenses) and driving history that meets the Bank’s standards (verified via Motor Vehicle Report). Driving may be required.

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
  • Bilingual (highly desired).
  • 3-4 years of cash handling or financial service experience.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated successful sales experience.
  • 4-5 years of relevant job experience.
  • Passionate, motivated self-starter.
  • Strong ability to educate clients on banking products and digital technologies.
  • Strong work ethic with a focus on accuracy.
  • Logical thinking and sound decision-making in analyzing situations.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with multiple computer and software systems.
  • Ability to calculate figures such as cash back and percentages.

Work Environment
