Position Purpose
As a Member Relationship Specialist, you will act as the primary liaison between members and the Credit Union, providing a consultative financial experience both in‑person and virtually. You will engage with members to identify their financial needs and recommend tailored solutions that address both immediate and long‑term financial goals, deepening relationships, expanding wallet share, and positioning the Credit Union as a digital‑first financial partner.
Pay Range
$22.28 – $23.51 per hour.
Education
High school degree or equivalent.
Experience
- Minimum one (1) year of recent experience in customer service, retail, or sales (required).
- Experience in a financial institution (preferred).
- Hospitality experience (a plus).
Requirements
- Required availability: Monday–Friday, 8:15 am – 5:15 pm with rotating Saturdays, 8:45 am – 12:45 pm (number of Saturdays may increase based on business needs).
- Attendance and promptness are essential; must be able to work a flexible Monday‑through‑Saturday schedule.
- Ability to identify opportunities by recommending personalized solutions.
- Knowledge of all financial regulations, including Federal Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Reg CC – Funds Availability, USA PATRIOT Act, etc.
- Knowledge of digital banking tools (a plus).
- Demonstrated experience supporting revenue through meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Excellent communication skills, both in‑person and across digital platforms.
- Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) registration with Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) required.
