About the role

Acquires and deepens the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities. Manages the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve the customer's financial wellbeing. Collaborates with ecosystem partners to grow the customer's share of wallet. Acts as a PNC ambassador, positioning PNC solutions to drive new revenue and customer loyalty.

  • Leads by example in driving proactive sales conversations through internal and outbound interactions, including outbound calling, service-to-sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and effective lobby engagement to elevate client loyalty.
  • Delivers a full PNC conversation with every client interaction to identify appropriate PNC solutions.
  • Leverages ecosystem partnerships and community Centers of Influence to acquire, expand, and retain relationships.
  • Performs lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position financial products to meet their needs.
  • Has expert knowledge of complex financial products, services, and solutions. Educates customers on options for managing financial transactions by leveraging technology, tools, and resources.
  • Applies product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and solve customer problems effectively to drive customer loyalty.
  • Manages risk through adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits.
  • Participates in branch daily operations, ensuring they are completed efficiently and accurately.

Employees must also assess and manage risks associated with their business objectives to adhere to PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Requirements

  • Typically requires an Associate’s degree or equivalent, plus related experience or product knowledge. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
  • Typically requires 4+ years of related business or functional experience.
  • Must demonstrate accountability, banking knowledge, client loyalty, customer experience (CX), customer service, identifying opportunities, leveraging technology, and proactive sales.
  • Preferred competencies include banking products, digital awareness, effective communications, managing multiple priorities, matrix management, problem-solving, prospecting, retail lending, selling, and understanding customer needs.
  • Candidates will be subject to additional background checks as required by Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations.
  • This position requires the ability to serve as a Notary Public in the applicable state.
  • PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

Pay

Base Salary: $53,625.00 – $89,375.00. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive-eligible, with payment based on company, business, and/or individual performance.
