About the role

This role involves assisting customers with transactions, opening accounts, and providing various financial services. It requires excellent communication skills, a commitment to quality, and a desire to grow professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Provides exceptional customer service by accurately and courteously addressing customer questions and processing requests.
  • Processes night drop items each morning.
  • Answers incoming telephone calls, determining the purpose of calls and either answering inquiries or forwarding them to the appropriate person.
  • Refers complicated questions and upset customers to the appropriate person.
  • Accepts deposits, verifies cash, and endorsements according to proper procedures.
  • Cashes checks with proper authorization from a loan officer if necessary.
  • Offers additional customer service including cashier’s checks, money orders, stop payments, and assists with customer research.
  • Interviews customers to obtain information and explains available financial services such as savings and checking accounts, Certificates of Deposit, ATM and Visa debit cards.
  • Processes account openings and provides proper documentation and disclosures.
  • Maintains accounts by making address changes and closing accounts as requested by customers.
  • Generates monthly reports as requested and sends letters to customers regarding their accounts.
  • Adds money to the ATM and balances cash daily for the ATM, teller drawer, and vault.
  • Promotes the bank's products and services, cross-selling them at every opportunity.
  • Aids in allocating and coordinating branch workflow by assisting co-workers with questions as needed.

Requirements

Minimum high school diploma or GED required.

Pay

Competitive total compensation package offered.

Schedule

Full-time hours of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
