About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Personal Banker IV, experienced in supporting the Branch Manager with oversight of the branch. Accountable for all aspects of performance including deposit/loan growth, member services, business development, and operations for the branch.
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships to promote member retention and loyalty, provide exceptional service while identifying member’s needs.
- Assist in supervising branch team members, ensuring optimal performance.
- Perform a broad variety of Teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments, and sell cashier's checks with a high degree of accuracy in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures, including robbery procedures.
- Preserve privacy on member account information and security of assigned cash and keys by complying with all applicable branch security procedures.
- Perform duties related to member accounts including member correspondence, instant issue debit cards, file maintenance, and telephone inquiries.
- Provide complex senior-level services such as opening accounts, processing loan applications, handling member service requests, business accounts/loans, wealth management, licensing, and special accounts.
- Engage in need-based selling and member relationship management as necessary.
- Ensure member requests and questions are promptly resolved and handle member complaints.
- Inform members of Credit Union services and policies, maintaining the Credit Union’s quality reputation.
- Ensure the branch balances all transactions at the close of each day, run related reports, and complete all checklists.
- Act as a designated Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO), complying fully with the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing (SAFE) Act.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent (College degree preferred).
- 3 to 5 years of branch banking experience.
- Advanced understanding of credit union products and services.
- Demonstrated track record of success meeting and/or exceeding established advanced sales and lending goals in a relationship-focused sales environment.
- Outstanding member service skills.
- Cash handling experience.
- Supervisory/Management experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills, comfortable multi-tasking, and ability to work independently and as a team member.
- NMLS license required.
Schedule
Branch hours: Monday - Thursday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm; Friday: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm; Saturday: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm.
Pay
The base pay range for this position is $30.27 – $37.84 hourly plus incentives (guaranteed $500/month for the first three months).
